Sellers promote the substance there before redirecting buyers to other platforms for transactions.

Retatrutide is an investigational injection created by American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly. The treatment targets three intestinal hormones – glucagon-like peptide-1, glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide and pancreatic hormone. Preliminary studies suggest it could help individuals reduce up to a quarter of their body weight. Referred to as the “triple G”, the drug is being promoted online as the successor to Ozempic.

Typing “retatrutide” instantly brings up channels with thousands of users, filled with photos of slimming results, positive testimonials and detailed guides for preparing or administering at residence.

Within moments of entering one group, a seller shared WhatsApp details, where the majority of purchases occur. The vendor sent an instruction manual and guaranteed delivery within two days. When questioned whether the substance was authentic, one seller responded: “You can’t be sure.” Another shared a image of a supposed laboratory certificate. None asked about body mass, health issues or past usage.

Within these communities, messages display dark colored parcels with postal service stickers, stating to contain new batches. One communication read: “It took eight of us to load them this morning.”
